Alpine County Committee on

School District Organization

The Alpine County Unified School District Board of Trustees serves as the Alpine County Committee on School District Organization.  The County Committee functions within the rules and regulations established by the legislature.

The County Committee oversees the reorganization of school districts and district boundaries through territory transfers, consolidations or unifications as well as the establishment or rearrangement of governing board trustee areas as required.  The County Committee approves and confirms changes in school district boundaries.

Meetings of the County Committee on School District Organization are scheduled once annually between October 1 and December 1, and on an as-needed basis.  Agendas will be posted.
